Couple thoughts

1 - For the love of Christmas, throw away every Phillips head screw you have and never buy them again except for maybe ultra-light duty applications. Star, square, torx, hex...doesn't really matter which one you use, just not Phillips.

2 - If you are remotely serious, I'd avoid B&D these days. Heck, if you aren't remotely serious, I'd still avoid B&D. Maybe 80 years ago it was a top-notch brand, but not anymore. For the price of B&D tools, you can get much better stuff. And if all you need is something cheap, there are cheaper options that are as good or better too.

3 - The modern Ryobi stuff is really, really good.
