Only lithium ion I've ever had an issue with was the Makita

Once it happened to me, I learned that it was a known issue that I could have avoided if I always charged my batteries after use.

Ramsets are indeed fun. I picked up a 0.27 caliber Ramset at a garage sale for like $20. I had only used the 0.22 caliber before. Holy hell that thing packs a punch.

I also have Paslode Impulse nailers that are a lot of fun. If you're not familiar, they're internal combustion driven nail guns. Butane fills a chamber. When you pull the trigger, it ignites and drives a piston to fire the nail. The only problem with them is if you don't use them often, an open butane cartridge goes bad after a while. So it only makes sense to use them if you have a decent sized job.
