I am cautiously optimistic that places like NY, FL, AZ, etc will not see

a big second wave. FL postponed its first wave. NY got hit early. Curves will all look essentially the same though at the end of the day. Unless people plan on locking down until there is a vaccine, they will only delay the inevitable IMO. That delay is okay, because it eases stress on hospitals and allows treatments to improve. But everywhere that locks down then reopens will get hit hard eventually. Nature of the Covid beast. All that said, wear a mask. Avoid unnecessary social gatherings. Easy enough to do and probably helps keep people healthy.
