I’m really surprised at how fearful some continue to be. My stepbrother and

his wife had a baby last March. None of the grandparents have seen the child - who is now one - because the wife won’t allow it. These are young, healthy people. I wonder how the lack of socialization will impact the child later on.

I have coworkers in the Northeast and West Coast who haven’t been to eat out in a year and they’re ok with that. Again, young healthy people.

We have friends in Oregon with a daughter who is a D1 talent as a swimmer. Their schools have been closed since March 2020, as has the aquatic center. Her team wears wet suits and swims in a lake.

It’s insane.
