Idk that it can really be goalpost moving. There hasn't been a goal

All I remember during the initial phases of this was the expression "forseeable future" and "here to stay" and "new normal", things like that. Talk about soul crushing.

Like others I see the "goal" as something more organic. It will never get back to "pre COVID", but it will get to where we tolerate it.
