You know... I get it..

when I sold him (gave him a ridiculously good deal) the vehicle, I said, "Don't screw me on this. Get the insurance this week"

I even had insurance written into the contract as a condition to sale.

"Don't worry Mr. Riverguy; my dad would kill me if I don't do this right. I wasn't raised like that." That's as near a quote as I can make it. His dad is a recently retired career Army guy with multiple advanced engineering degrees. Sigh. His mom & riverwife talk on the phone almost daily. They're aware. If I don't hear from him by 5 tonight, I'm going to drive around looking for him. Seriously. I'm done w/ this.

My scary scenario, though, is what if he's lost that title? And he may have.

I think he knows this fine is coming his way. Unless, of course, he had it insured like he said he would. Which I have doubts.
