Either get in now (SEC or B10) before the new contracts are finalized to be part of the party or survive in another conference and forever be left behind for yearly media revenue. It is very quickly shaping up that way.

I have no doubt that VT and UVA will have a home in the ACC and that the B12 leftovers will have a home (either expand what they have or go elsewhere). But the single biggest problem is that all signs are pointing to us having two VERY rich conferences, then 2-3 middle class conferences, and then the G5 poorer conferences (based on media dollars). And over time that dollar difference will further divide the talent pools (players and coaches).

I don't think anyone should rest easy right now. Half of college football P5 is about to get left in the cold if they are not careful.
