Handwriting is on the wall, which ACC football programs get cut?

God, I'm sounding like Chuck

Looking at the home attendance numbers posted by Obguthr below

ACC has two teams under 30K and two teams under 40K (Hoos are at 40 on that list but were up to 47K in 2019). That's four out of 14 teams in the conference where football is no big deal to the home crowd. SEC carries (hides) one. B1G carries one (at least they are a former champ, are building great facilities, and are in the Chicago market). PAC carries two and they are down near our level in income.
It is simply not sustainable for the ACC to distribute full football shares to teams of G5 interest and expect the serious programs to be able to compete with the SEC for income.

Do some or all re-affiliate in football with another conference? Do they get a half share for football? Do members keep the revenue from their OOC games? Some combination? What is the solution?

Or am I wrong and the conference can afford to continue to do this?

The 2021 OOC games of the 4 schools includes: Colgate, UMass, Temple, Mizzou, Charlotte, NC A&T, Northwestern, Kansas, Ohio, Rutgers, Albany, Liberty, ODU, Norfolk St, Army, and UNC. I'd have a hard time asking ESPN for more $ with 4 schools with bad home draws playing this collection of discretionary opponents in the collection of things I'm selling. This is 16 games where all but 2 will have under 40K in attendance.
