Rough math with all included

- all schools pull in roughly $35M per year for full contract
- so let’s make that $28M for football, $7M for basketball
- top tier gets $38M, bottom $18M for football
- top tier goes from $35M to $45M total payout

That is a $10M increase (for the schools that matter and drive contract value) before you consider the added value this type of arrangement brings and it going to market.

Some may drop football being relegated to a lower tier, some may enjoy more winnable games, and some may strive to be better to be in top tier.
