Dealt with something similar a few months ago. An Avis rental in Cali got

charged to my corporate card. Wasn’t me. I looked into it, and the person who made the rental had an almost identical Wizard # (Avis’ rental program) to mine with two numbers transposed. Somehow, it must have gotten entered into their system wrong and when my Wizard # got keyed in, it automatically billed to my corporate card. No intentional misconduct, but a pain in the rear to deal with.
