East Carolina looking to link ties to Charlotte

In North Carolina, Charlotte is the boom city and East Carolina is isolated in far eastern, inaccessible Greenville NC. East Carolina needs to crack the Charlotte market, for R&D, medical support, and alumni base who works there. (there are minimal ties up to the Hampton Roads Market).... AAC was smart to pick up Charlotte as a way to solidify the mid-atlantic leg of the conference with Navy, Temple, ECU and now Charlotte, along with Fla Atlantic. Also, AAC is anticipated the new Big 12 expansion with Memphis and South Florida moving (along with Co State and Boise)

Also SBC is tickled with regional va rivalries (marshall, ODU, JMU and Appy State.), Ga State Ga Southern UAB, as well as well as the deep south schools).
