You are correct.....

Skipper has been orchestrating this for a while and his interview with LeBatard is a very interesting peek behind the curtain. Their newest venture seems to be doing well and both Skipper and LeBatard have intimate knowledge of ESPN's soft spots and ESPN's former long term plans. Seems to me their new venture has two substantial weaknesses. First, they don't really have the financial clout to be more than an annoyance to the Mouse. Second, there is the risk associated with the recurrence of their old demons and their advancing ages. I think Skipper is just now hoping to remain in the game and maybe hold the Mouse's feet to the fire the best he can.
