Getting rid of CCGs could lead to back door contraction, which I support.
That vid you posted yesterday with John Skipper alluded to the same thing. I think all conferences are looking to get rid of dead weight, but don't know how to do it.
Well, this could do it.
Like I mentioned above, I think conferences should be small enough to accommodate round robin play. Getting rid of conference title games would put the schools in position to contract. And I am here for it. Plus, for me, the fewer neutral site games the better.
Let's say we still get 12 games and have 2 OOC games. That means the conference would need to be 11 teams for round robin play. Sign me up for this right now.
Have an 8 or 16 team bracket with emphasis on conference champions since there will be more of them (and less sample size with less OOC).
