The day anything like that happens in college football will be the last day

I ever spend a dime supporting anything having to do with it. At that point, the game would no longer represent any of the reasons I love it so much.

I don't love college football because of a stupid playoff I never wanted in the first place. I don't love college football because we might get to play Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, or Michigan a couple of times before I die. I love college football because Lane Stadium is an awesome place to get together with 66,000 of my brothers and sisters to watch us play Miami, UVA, North Carolina, and other schools with whom we have built a real rivalry based on YEARS of familiarity and personal experience. And I'll tell you something else — the next time we beat Pittsburgh will be cause to party like a rock star all night long simply because they've had our number so much! And bring on the 'Eers already!
