partial membership with the Big 12. BYU and UConn would be "football only" members and play all their other sports in another conference, BYU in the West Coast Conference and UConn in the Big East. That way, BYU and UConn only get a portion of the TV revenue. The Big 12 doesn't have to worry about BYU's Sunday restrictions and travel to Storrs, CT for Olympic sports. If the Big 12 wants to go to 14, add Cincinnati in the east (to bridge the Big 12 with WVU) and Houston for the western division.
