If the B12 is looking for football-only members...


I think they could do better than UConn. Boise State to me is the next best football selection after BYU. And while the Connecticut market might be nice for the B12, so might the Florida (UCF) or Southern California (SDSU) recruiting scene.

And if they're going to take on the UConn football program, you might as well take on their men's hoops. And if your going to take on the men's hoops program, they might want to take on the women's hoops team as well. The rest of the nonrevs can go to the Big East or wherever I suppose.

And taking on BYU men's hoops might not be a bad idea. If the hoops team is all that is take on, it's easier to work around the Sunday issue rather than doing it for a bunch of nonrev programs.
