Well, when you look at it like that I agree I would rather have Molinaro and Frayer than Zadick and St. John. I think they Frayer and Molinaro are quite a bit better.

Frayer has a ton of experience who in my mind is more qualified as a head assistant than Zadick. I love Zadick because he has a contagious enthusiasm and he's a great coach so this is no knock on him. From what I can tell Frayer genuinely cares about the guys he coaches which is something parents will love to see.

Molinaro fills that Ra-Ra role of Zadick and I think his presence alone makes up a bit of recruiting ground we lost with Dresser. These recruits have grown up watching Molinaro and he's got a personality that resonates with young kids. Wrestling-wise he's slightly better than St. John, but the intangibles put him way over.

Now if we are comparing our staff to ISU's I'd say it's a tie. I think our paid assistants are quite a bit better. Right now it's hard to say how much better Dresser is than Robie(if at all,we will see). Metcalf is a very good volunteer assistant and I'll put him over Walz, although his Ohio ties are big in recruiting.

No matter how hard I try I will definitely be seeing ISU as a rivalry as long as Dresser is there. A friendly rivalry of course, but a rivalry all the same.
