It's not an outcome of ecommerce, but it's still a choice of speed over


efficiency. But in the part I mention, USPS, I'm referring to the shifting of goods between the carriers hubs vs a company's distribution centers; not so much the last stretch.

Traditionally, a retailer might ship goods between their distribution centers by freight, then send one truck to a store from one distribution center. With Amazon, for example, they just ship two separate parcels via UPS/FedEx/USPS/DHL. I'm wondering what is more efficient.
