I'm almost always on the side of Property Rights. If you're going to deface


someone else's property with graffiti, you have no gripe when the walls are whitewashed or, as in this case, ultimately torn down. You can't own the art if you don't own the canvas.

Didn't MTA used to spend millions every year whitewashing graffiti from subway cars?
