A diffetent angle. Think "adverse possession".

Below the wall is referred to as a canvas. If someone willingly let you use that canvas for 20 years, do you have any say so about it?

If you use or occupy part of my property for 15 years (in VA) you may very well have rights to occupy or otherwise control use of it.

Just a thought for discussion.
