Inflation chart 1997-2017. Why's the #^% cost of college so high?

Hospital services, college textbook and tuition are off the charts.

Is there any justification for these costs? I don't think professors are that highly paid and many schools use a lot of adjunct professors to lower their cost of labor.

The ROI of college isn't worth it anymore for many.
