From there, the fans(customers) may be able to influence decisions in the future. As I've stated OVER AND OVER, a random polling of TSL would have produced better decisions than ACC leadership. Like other struggling entities, they refused to consider the needs/desires/input of the folks paying the bills.

Anyhow, I would do absolutely everything necessary to remove current ACC leadership and replace it with new blood, preferably from the B1G. The B1G has done the best at providing what conferences are supposed to provide their school, schedules and payouts.

Once that is done, I would reconfigure the divisions in football. I would see to it that schools like VT would be able to play Atlantic squads like Clemson, FSU, and NC State more often. It seems like a smallish thing, but one massive game like Clemson last year, can be worth $5 to $10 million for the Hokies. It's worth even more for the local economy.

Then, I would lead up the efforts for the P5 or P4 to break away and do its own division within the NCAA, or maybe even its own thing entirely. That seems to be the direction we are headed anyhow. The ACC should be out in front of this. The ACC has the most to gain due to its being so far behind the other leagues. We should absolutely be pressing this in that direction. And it shouldn't be Swofford doing so, because the rest of the P5 leadership has clearly had enough of him. They've pretty much told us that.

Anyhow, THAT's the vision I would be pushing.

And oh, no more coddling of UNC and/or Tobacco Road. This league is bigger than that. It should be viewed so by its leadership, its fans, the bowls, and networks. Get these guys GONE.
