When I proposed,I was
23 and my now wife was 21. I was in grad school and she had dropped out of college and was working at the university as an adm assistant. Her parents were not happy since I was an unemployed grad student. We married when I graduated, but before I had a job. Well, almost 40 years later we are going strong. We have 3 successful adult children, one granddaughter and a grandson on the way. You just have to let them make their own decisions and try to support them in their decisions. Things will work out.
