This timeline also includes pushing your daughter to considering a NP program. Not sure where she is in undergrad as you didn't provide that.
- SIL to be goes to Basic (if not already done). Then to OCS. Then MOS training. Daughter goes to 1st year of nursing/NP school concurrently.
- SIL to be goes to first assignment. Daughter does 2nd year of Nursing/NP School.
- SIL goes to second assignment or additional MOS training. Daughter finishes either school.
At this point, anywhere they live, not in a war zone, she has a great civilian job. Or she goes into the service and they pay for her above schooling. I suggest NP programs b/c the military will likely see her as a Doc many places they go.
My sister and her husband have spent a fair amount of time geographically apart while she goes to/finished Medical School and specialty rotations. It will work long term in a way they can't see now.
