I get bouncing around between tours in different places


However, the article makes it sound like he spent the entire time in Korea. Whether he did 1 tour or multiple tours, I would still assume that he received R&R from time to time. Even the most elite soldier needs time to decompress and recharge from time to time.

If he did have an opportunity to come home for a visit (i.e. over the holidays), then a part of me would feel the article is a little misleading because there is a huge difference between having no physical contact with a person and not living with a person for almost 10 years. The article gives the impression that he and his daughter didn't have any physical contact during his deployment.
