I believe most military personnel have the ability to video chat with loved


ones while deployed overseas. However, video chat is not the same as being physically in the same room as another individual. If they were physically in the same room together at some point during the 10 year deployment, then I would think the author would have included it in the article. It doesn't change the message of the article.
