Yet 2023 was not the biggest applicant pool ever. And, for the first time


VT offered an early action component that did not bind earlier applicants. Financial aid awards also went out earlier. Yes, the VT education is "in demand" but apparently "demand" dropped from last year based on # of applicants.
How many students do you know of that got in this year that "wouldn't have gotten in during prior years"? I haven't seen that reported anywhere. That would be an interesting fact to see and for Sands to comment on.
