Question for PC builders & IT people:

My "old" PC has finally kicked the bucket after 10+ years, and I'm thinking about doing a budget rebuild with inexpensive parts to use as my "screwing around" (message board, web search, etc.) computer (which is what I was using it for after I built my current computer).

If I replace the MOBO & CPU, but reuse the hard drive, what do I need to do to get the old HD back online? Do I just need to go into the BIOS to ensure the boot sequence is correct to get it to load? Is there anything else I need to do?

TIA!
