I put Linux on a separate SSD in my new computer, then discovered...


...it wouldn't work with my new video card. This was one I was led to believe was compatible. The only way I could run Linux was to attach the HDMI cable to the MOBO input jack.

I would jump on a Linux on a heartbeat for the new machine if I knew 100% that I could find a relatively modern video card to run on it, otherwise it's just a expensive brick.
