If it's just your 'message board, web search, etc." computer, get a


chromebook for $300 or less. You'll probably spend that much or more doing a cheap build, and you'll save yourself hours and hours and the frustrations of "new driver needed" and all that other stuff.

Unless the 'etc.' includes downloading a lot of stuff.
