The world outside the Beltway is far different than inside

Been going to various places over the last few months to see my kids' college competitions, and it's been awesome. Even most places in the Peoples' Republic of Arlington are more laid back than DC. Interesting, though, that you can go see a Caps or Wiz game and not have to wear a mask now but you do at the Kennedy Center.
