More than niche. I was in my 30s when BFF emerged, all my friends loved it.

BFF's breakout album "Whatever and ever Amen" went platinum. Years later in 2012 their reunion album made it to the top 10. (Linked below). He had two solo albums in 2005 and 2008 that reached 13 and 11 on the album charts.
