The only reason I recognize the name is because he was a judge on "The Sing-Off" and I used to watch video clips of that show on YouTube after it went off the air because I wanted to listen to a cappella music. Given that BG and I are from the same hometown and went to the HS together, it wouldn't surprise me if none of the radio stations in the area played any Ben Folds Five songs during that time period.
