FWIW there are 2 universities (DI and DIII) located in our hometown

1 DIII college located in a nearby town, so they may have played at one of the colleges while I was in HS. The irony in my previous post is all the pop/rock radio stations in the area seemed to be a decade behind on their playlist. Now all the country stations seemed to be up with the current times. When I was in HS ('92-95) you only heard 80s pop or rock on the radio. I don't think they started playing the more current stuff, even if it was a couple years behind, until the last half of the previous decade. Heck even playing some poppish hip-hop music was kinda of big deal for the stations too.
