back in September the riverfront patio was open with concessions outdoors and folks were hanging out w/o masks. Too chilly for that on Monday night.

note that all the other concerts I've attended have had vax/test + mask requirements
- Stubbs BBQ Austin, TX = 75% of the crowd was drinking a beer therefore not wearing masks, but it is an outdoor venue so risk minimal already
- Fillmore Philadelphia, PA = metal + beerfest, upstairs in the beer area, maybe 10% of people were masked - serving staff and people who had an empty beer cup. down on the concert floor, I'd say 50% were wearing masks, and again, almost everyone without a mask was drinking something
- Kennedy Center - concessions aren't allowed in the concert halls, so everyone was wearing their masks during the shows. I did see a Ben Folds superfan take hers off during one of the singalongs so she could really unload.. not that singing is a good way to spread respiratory disease or anything..

for me it boils down to if I'm going to be in an enclosed space with a bunch of other people (concert, store, etc) I'm going to wear a mask when practical. Even making exceptions for drinking/eating I'm going to take the opportunities to cut down my personal risk and the risk I could be spreading something
