A couple of people close to me have had issue with mental health disorders


I 100% agree with you.

If you've never dealt with it, it's easy to dismiss as a personal accountability issue, someone entitled, etc. Someone close to me was diagnosed as schizophrenic in their early/mid 20s and it was eye opening to the issues of mental health and mental health care in the country. It's awful. This person didn't even believe anything was wrong; there was always an excuse and a response to their paranoia, or hallucinations, or their confusion. It took someone close to them patience and time to get them help, get on medication, and stay on it. It did wonders. But it requires constant vigilant. The health care system treated them like a product in an assembly line. It's very very sad.

I don't know if that's what Antonio Brown is dealing with but I have to say that I look at people's behavior with a very critical eye now and don't judge too quickly.
