The text I got this morning from my colleague,


My colleague at work, a clinical psychologist who is also a Tech fan and undergrad alum texted me regarding Brown this morning. His text read, "Boy, did he fracture ."

Fracturing is the description used in the mental health field for when someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder has their ego shattered or crushed which results in explosive behaviors and sometimes, acute loss of reality, mania, etc. Throughout life, the person with NPD quickly angers when the ego takes a hit or is challenged, but occasionally in life, it actually is such a brutal hit to the ego that we call it "fracturing." Fracturing is quickly followed by things such as crimes committed, rapes, mania, psychotic episodes, etc. That's exactly what happened yesterday.
