My older daughter has a constellation of things that are related to her personality disorder. She sees a pediatric neurologist for help with it. He is great. She has some difficult days including problems with seizures and such. But on her good days she is a normal young woman. She has physical health issues as well including arthritis and auto immune issues. She sees multiple specialists for these issues. I guess the point I am trying to make is that while it is difficult to live with a personality disorder, there are doctors out there that do a great job treating these issues and alot of people still can lead a successful life but it takes a lot of work and support. My youngest daughter also has some health issues as well. The key is it can take years to find the right medical specialists for these issues but you got to just keep looking. There is a lot of promising work being done in the field of neurology and I remain hopeful for the future.
