...they did to get their kid into Annapolis. I'm sure there are specific hoops to jump through to be accepted. Academics and athletics are important, so it sounds like your kid already has that handled.

I went to Tech, and later AOCS, and one thing I remember the DIs mentioning was the high percentage of Eagle Scouts in the program.

Outside of school, what other things does he do? Does he have his private pilot's license? Scuba qualification? Sail halfway around the world? Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro? Sorry, those last two were things Fr8Dog's daughter has done...

Don't you also need a congressman or senator"s endorsement?

Once he gets in, he needs to work his way into aviation. His standard of living will be much better...lol
