I have a ton of USNA friends, including my Best Man. On average, yea,

service academy grads do well, in the military and afterwards. They are all very well networked alumni groups, like ND (2 of my groomsmen, as well) and other schools. There are times I wish that I had gone to the USNA, and in fact, I had been working thru Sen. John Warner’s office in ‘78 for an appointment, but got accepted to Va Tech for engineering before completing the process, and well, here I am. Still ended up in the Navy, got my Wings, etc…😉

If he is considering the Naval Academy, he needs to want to go, even without football, especially if he is not being actively recruited. But, if he gets accepted, attends, and works hard, he will do well in life. 😎👍🏻
