No. I'll give you my idea but I was just explaining
why the average FSU/Clemson fan wants 8 ACC games instead of 9. Teel stated that they were tweeting him that they did not want 9 games. To put it more simply they'd rather play these six games (Auburn x2, Georgia, Miss, A&M, 1-AA team) than these six (Duke, Pitt, UVA, VT, UNC, GT).
As far as ACC scheduling, below is a copy/paste of my idea from a few days ago. I don't think it will change FSU/Clemson fan's minds about 8 vs. 9 games but it would provide better matchups for tv. But I do realize the 9th games is more about tier-3 content.
We can do a rotation now with 14 but they want several fixed rivals instead of playing everyone 50+% of the time.
4 groups:
(4) VT, UVA, UNC, Duke
(3) FSU, Miami, NCSU
(3) Clemson, GT, Wake
(4) Syracuse, BC, Pitt, Louisville
Rotate groups to form two 7 team divisions each year.
Play six division games and 2 from the other division (e.g., if you are in a 4 team group you play 2 of the teams in the other four team group)
No permanent rivals except FSU-Clemson if using the above groupings. If we go to 9 games, everyone may have a permanent rival
