PAC12 should try to get Disney to buy majority equity in the PAC12 Networks
If ESPN had equity stake in the PAC12 Networks, it puts Texas in play for the PAC12. The PAC12 Network has its national channel, but it also has 6 regional channels (Arizona,Los Angeles,Bay Area,Oregon, Washington, and Mountain). I watch them from time to time. Production quality is good.
The Longhorn Network could very easily become PAC 12 Network Texas. The PAC 12 could add Texas plus one other Texas team. And then they could add Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and create PAC12 Network Oklahoma. ESPN could work PAC12 minority ownership into the Longhorn Network as part of the deal. It would help all sides.
Disney has the muscle to get distribution, and ESPN would be able to find something useful to do with the Longhorn Network. Larry Scott would have to let go of his baby, but USC has leverage to push for something to happen. [Post edited by HOO86 at 12/13/2017 7:46PM]
