Similar size, make up, and mission.


They have all also been competitive in the league in football, basketball, and baseball among other sports. The ACC is made up to be a fit for most any Private University who is competitive in FBS football.

Boston College has had challenges with its coaches lately, but they seem to have fixed that. The last AD went and fired good coaches, and it was a problem. They have played in the ACC football championship game and the men's basketball championship game since they've been here.

Louisville has added strong teams in football, basketball, and baseball that compete well in the ACC. They are weaker in academics, but college basketball gets the highest TV ratings in the Louisville DMA than any national DMA. The ACC benefits from being in that market for a lot of reasons. The ACC football schools wanted that football program.

Syracuse has always been a fit for the ACC. The ACC has wanted Syracuse since the 1980s. They bring ACC basketball right into New York. Their football is good enough. I wish they would add baseball and try to compete. The lacrosse is a great fit.
