Funny, I think at the time I saw 60 minutes or someone else
go through the scenario in a declassified ship space with cameras rolling.
Kind of cool to see the screen of the system I worked on.
I was on at least a half dozen Ticonderoga class ships.
In the mid eighties, I worked in spook systems. After target contact classified information was scrubbed by software (i.e. source), I actually integrated the spook target information to the tomahawk weapons system. In other words, an operator from my system could send the target information to the Tomahawk system.
It allowed the Tomahawks to be used as a Ship to Ship weapon hitting targets thousands of miles a way which was really cool at the time.
