overkill is giving everyone these cheap disposable plastic gloves. First of all, they hit you with hand sanitizer and take your temperature as soon as you enter the building. Anything north of 38 C, and you're turned away. That's fine. But the gloves? I mean, you just hit me with hand sanitizer, so in theory, you killed what was on my hands. If I'm stupid enough to fiddle with my mask and wipe my mouth, nose with the gloves, the surface of the gloves get all my nasty bacteria on them and then I'm touching everything. The gloves get just as dirty while I'm shopping as my hands would, and I'm putting on hand sanitizer as soon as I leave the grocery store, washing my hands when I get home, etc. So what good did the gloves do? All it does it make it harder to open plastic bags for vegetables, harder to unlock my phone to look at my list, etc. I've seen people with gloves on eating food that requires them to hold the food with their hands. How does that help anything?
