COVID in the US is a mess, with more to come, based on our sites
We had 3 whole positives from March to mid-June in our more than 20 sites in Canada, Mexico and the US. Since then? More than 20, with hundreds of employees out either awaiting test results or in isolation due to possible exposure. In Texas and Mexico, more than 30 people are out at various locations. And we haven't yet seen the impact of July 4.
The maddening part? ALL of this activity expect for a single case is due to decisions our people are making outside of work. Picnics, dinners, vacations, etc. It's not spreading inside our sites, due to the measures we have ha din place since March. Given this behavior, the fallout from July 4 will be bad.
If other companies are experiencing this, what is coming will be worse than what we have already experienced. The fascinating thing to me is that media are used to this, and the hysteria of March April isn't there while the facts are actually worse.
