Like a cold no...but we've had this discussion here (not you and I per se).


It certainly can be spread through learned behaviors. Obese kids more often then not have obese parents....honest question, why is that not considered a form of child abuse? Obese people also are at greater risks for heart attacks, etc which also make them a risk driving cars, etc. where they can certainly injure or kill someone else. They also help drive up medical and insurance costs for everyone because of the health issues related to obesity. So yes, I understand that's the easy refrain to make..."you can't catch obesity"; but it is far from a disease that limits itself to just the choices of the individual and severely undermines the severity of the epidemic.
