I just explained why it's not. Your post is in a thread about COVID19 and

you are attempting to argue that obesity "can be spread". As far as the "public reactions and acceptability of each", do you think the fact that you can catch COVID19 but not obesity from a random person plays into those reactions? I also don't care if a person riding a motorcycle doesn't have a helmet on. I think it's stupid but it's not my skull that's going to get cracked open. The big difference is decisions impacting the person making them versus people around the person making them. That's why comparing the two is pointless.
