I think the COVID situation presents a very good explanation for short


Timing your current job and taking a better one. Most folks are going to understand. And at the end of the day, we have families to feed, bills to pay, etc. just like the people that are interviewing you. If they have enough interest in interviewing you then they’ve already made some determination they are interested to some degree. My advice is to not stick with a job that underpays or underutilizes you. That’s a recipe for depression, frustration and likely carry frustration into other parts of your life. But the main point is if I were interviewing you I’d probably not care too much about your short term current job especially with the covid environment. Frankly it might be an asset as a lot of folks took the extra benefits and did not take jobs that were beneath them. Some folks took what work they could get, and there is value in work.
