can be listed by name and then described as employment upon return while seeking permanet career opportunity. Or, don't list either and just provide the time frame and simply say short term employment while seeking...

You have a unique situation coming back to the US so it shouldn't be unexpected that there is something atypical in your work history. Potential employers will likely as about it and you can clarify in a sentence or two and then move on to more important and relevant topics.
